I'm watching the goonies right now.
I miss childhood.
I've realized that recently - I do miss being a little girl, OR, miss the missed opportunities?
The latter.

So, well, it's been a boring month.
I mostly knit and I mostly stare at books, but never read them.
I'm trying, but I always think about my writing, or I always think about knitting.
It's a tough world.

That's about it.

Oh, I work, too.
Funny, funny, funny.

Oh, about those stories.
I'm no farther than last month, haha.

Once I get them up, I do hope someone likes them.

It's the first and time for my journal entry for this month.

Books books and more books.
I've only finished one this month:
Shirley Jackson - The Haunting of Hill House
I
fucking
loved
it.
I want to reread it again in the near future - it's too good to be only read through once - so many things you couldn't have possibly caught.
How in the hell I ever finished 4+ books a month is beyond me. I would like to know how!
Ah yes, I was jobless and hardly hung out with people.
And I didn't have knitting.
Strange, odd world.

Do not despair nonexistent readers of DEG VS LTFAW!
The NEW chapter is halfway through, quite literally. They're all going to lunch. So, I am pleased with myself. I already have the ending written out and their challenge picked out. I cannot wait.
I actually have the ending to the entire story already written and practically finished, because I don't think I have told you that yet?

Nothing new is happening - no new prose I mean.
I have everything started, but nothing even remotely finished.

Well, another month has passed and nothing new has been posted.
What's new, right?

DEG VS LTFAW is coming along, SLOWLY. I mean, it's 10 pages into its new chapter ; )

I have read one book for the month of October and bought six new books for October. I'll never finish my collection by the time I'm 50-years-old.
- Christopher Moore - Practical Demonkeeping
Not bad.

I'm going to go finish my sock because, fuck it, I don't care if it's messed up.

I would like to mark my productive morning.
Since I am so fed up with not finishing stories in my allotted time, I made sure that nothing could hold me back from finishing DEG VS LTFAW.
I have two big notebooks. One is filled while the other one I am working on filling. They're filled with notes and stories I write when I don't have a computer handy. My first notebook holds everything I NEED when I write on DEG VS LTFAW. All the notes, where the servants belong, future chapter notes, story line, etc... You don't think I can keep up with ALL that, do you?
What I did, since I'm so lazy to search for it in my first notebook, I got a pad of paper and wrote down everything I needed and stuck it in my present notebook.
I then, after that was finished, busted out my post-its and stuck one on every page I have a note, or written something for DEG VS LTFAW in my present notebook. I labeled some of them and others I left blank.
I'm so proud of myself, haha, no, really.
I WILL FINISH THIS STORY, BY GOD. I am so tired of having it open and nothing happening or having to ruffle through my notebooks to see where I'm at or who's who.
But, I do ADORE DEG VS LTFAW although no one reads it. I don't blame them, it's fucking long.
To this point I have... 105 pages.
Wow.
105 pages, by myself.

NO NEW BOOKS FOR SEPTEMBER, although I just started a new one this morning. Hopefully I'll have a couple for October, maybe, if God himself blesses me with time. Since I haven't really been working 8-hour days and don't kick it with friends anymore, I figured that time can be spent doing A) Reading or B) Knitting.
I'm taking a sock knitting class tomorrow, so, I'll be knitting my first sock. It'll be awful looking and may not last me for the rest of my life, but, BY GOD, I'll have knitted one, well, two... Since socks come in pairs.
I ATTEMPTED to read 'War of the Worlds'... Haha, IT BORES THE SHIT OUT ME. Quite literally. OMG. I don't know how to describe how utterly bland that book is. Sure it has an awesome theme, and awesome aliens and awesome fight scenes which are described too thoroughly, buttttt he could have done better. Sure, it was good for the time, but no one has personality back then, if you really think about it. Those who did were magicians and tap dancers... Even they sucked.

DEG VS LTFAW, I am actually working on it right now. It's opened, I added a couple of paragraphs to it; it's coming along. I'm making outlines for certain parts and stretching my IMAGINATION to improv the rest. Good luck to me, right?

My weird fetish story is, well, haha, I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. None of you really know what I'm talking about, but, rest assured, it's another comedic romance story. First person. And it makes me giggle as I'm writing it. YES GIGGLE.
WIGGLE.
Any other words that rhyme?
