Distant, that's the word which Kurushimu described Jiyuuna at the meeting. Distant and unexciting. Distant and cold. Distant and bland. Distant and stupid. Distant and distracting. Distant and Jiyuuna interrupted him. "Shut the fuck up." He angrily sucked. Smoke steamed from his nose, in a dragon like manner.
After the meeting, Kurushimu drove him to the store, refusing to talk, refusing to look in Jiyuuna's direction. The only sound made in the car was the engine, hissing along with Kurushimu's smoking. Jiyuuna couldn't smoke just yet, he was still shaking by the time they reached Kit Kat Club. Yet, when they parked on the opposite side of the street, Kurushimu nearly pushed him inside, slamming the door, lights flickering on the farther they walked in (Kurushimu's work no doubt), placing Jiyuuna on the counter where the cash register sat idle. Jiyuuna still pictured the way Kurushimu lit that cigarette, shaking in anger. His eyes nearly slits as he prowled in front of Jiyuuna, straying only when Jiyuuna meekly peeked up at him from his own smoke.
"Can't take it?" Kurushimu laughed, languidly pacing through their store, caressing some of the merchandise as he walked past. "Not one fucking word, not one fucking emotion, not one goddamn emotion when Reisei picked you of all those other fuckers," Kurushimu swiveled a hand in the air.
"Why should I?" Jiyuuna combed his untamed red hair with his fingers, lightly stroking the two black strands in front.
"TO CONFUSE THE FUCKING ENEMY," Kurushimu screamed, clearly angry. "WE NEED THIS!" He paused, panting, "I NEED THIS," he corrected himself.
Jiyuuna rapdily blinked, he calmly replied, "To be like you?" To be paranoid, a power seeker, to be addicted to everything but reality.
Kurushimu, who was nearing the end of the store, paused, harshly throwing his cigarette down on the stone floor, lit in end first. For a moment he stared, claming his face, cocking his head. And in slow, easy steps he inched to Jiyuuna, his shadow darkening Jiyuuna's color. "To be like me? You're too fucking pathetic. Listen," he firmly, nearly painfully, gripped Jiyuuna's chin with his boney fingers, smacking the cigarette from Jiyuuna's mouth, forcing his lip piercing to rip off. The piercing dinged on the floor "It's my fucking world and you're in it," he grinned.
Jiyuuna's hands which had been squeezing his knees to not let Kurushimu get to him, tightened and his breathing had to be forced. For the first time, anger flushed his face, his heart hammered and before he could control it, keep it under his facade, a fist slammed right on Kurushimu's cheek. It scooted right on the cheekbone; if Jiyuuna savored the moment, he would have felt the dull indentions of Kurushimu's teeth, the rotation of his head. The man's head jerked to the side, his claw jerking off Jiyuuna's chin in one swift movement. By the time Kurushimu stood up, holding his cheek, tonguing it, Jiyuuna already stood to full height, flexing his fists for another blow, if only he came back into arm's reach.
Alas the anger morphed into confusion and his fists automatically loosened.
Kurushimu cackled, spraying blood on the floor as he said, "PERFECT! Just so goddamn perfect!" He excitedly yelled, throwing his paws in the air. "Jiyuuna!" He laughed, walking up to him, "You're welcome," and he placed his sore lips on Jiyuuna's, blood greasing their kiss.
